The Department of Urology at the Medical University of Vienna is pleased to announce the nomination of Prof. Dr. Nirmish Singla from the renowned Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, as Adjunct Professor.

As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Nirmish Singla presented an inspiring lecture entitled “MicroRNAs: Turning the Tide in Testicular Cancer” and took the opportunity to engage in professional exchange with colleagues, researchers, and students.

About Prof. Dr. Nirmish Singla:
Prof. Singla began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Michigan, followed by a residency in Urological Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
He is currently an Associate Professor of Urology and Oncology at the renowned Brady Urological Institute, where he directs the Translational Research Program in Genitourinary Oncology, the Kidney Cancer Program, and serves as Co-Director of the Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma Program.
Through his multidisciplinary approach, Prof. Singla combines excellence in clinical care with advanced research at the highest scientific level.
