Univ.-Prof. Dr. Shahrokh Shariat, Head of department

The University Department of Urology at MedUni Vienna and Vienna General Hospital offers patients excellent treatment results in a safe and respectful environment. In this way, we improve the quality of life of those affected and help to ensure that healthcare is provided at the highest level in Austria.

In order to ensure this, we provide comprehensive training for doctors and researchers and rely on the continuous further training of our staff. In addition, we are dedicated to basic, clinical and translational research with the aim of overcoming the boundaries of knowledge and bringing our research findings directly from the laboratory to the patient's bedside.
