On November 29, 2024, the prestigious Research Promotion Prize of Erste Bank of the Austrian Sparkassen AG and the Theodor Billroth Prize of the Vienna Medical Association were ceremoniously awarded at the Erste Campus.
These distinguished awards honor outstanding scientific contributions in the field of medicine. For many years, they have played a pivotal role in supporting emerging scientists and recognizing their exceptional achievements.
The awards were presented by Martin Reiter (Erste Bank) and Dr. Sebastian Roka (Vienna Medical Association).
Priv.-Doz. Dr. Tamas Fazekas was honored with the 3rd Prize for his research project, conducted in collaboration with Professor Shahrokh Shariat.
