High distinction for the Head of the Department of Urology and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Medical University of Vienna
On November 26th 2025, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Shahrokh F. Shariat, Head of the Department of Urology and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Medical University of Vienna, will be awarded the Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der Kammer für Ärztinnen und Ärzte in Wien.
With this prestigious award, the Kammer für Ärztinnen und Ärzte in Wien recognizes Prof. Shariat’s outstanding contributions to medicine — particularly his internationally acclaimed achievements in urology, oncology, research, and the education of future medical professionals.
